A student-led project at UWC Changshu. Through sustained companionship, home visits and shared learning, we build lasting connections with local families.
We are a student-led project at UWC Changshu, working with the Changshu Women’s Federation. Through sustained companionship, home visits, and activities we plan together, we support local families and learn from one another.

We learn alongside children through reading, creative activities, study support, and opportunities to try something new.
We bring families and students together through shared outings and community activities, in partnership with the Changshu Women’s Federation.
During a family visit, members discussed learning interests and next steps and began planning age-appropriate support. The focus is on manageable goals and activities shaped with the family.
Our weekly tracker records check-ins for all four family groups on 1 October. Regular contact helps us maintain continuity as we plan the term together.
