Our Plans

How we plan sustained companionship, learning activities and community connections.

2026–27 · Term 1: companionship, learning & community

Four family groups will agree realistic goals, keep one regular weekly hour of connection and reflect together. Visits and shared activities are arranged with families, guided by consent, availability and continuity. The term also includes proposed training, creative learning and community projects.

Proposed · Volunteer Tutor Training

Proposed for 29 October, 19:00–20:00, R1325. A practical session on confidence, curiosity, age-appropriate activities and manageable learning goals. Facilitator and final agenda are still to be confirmed.

Proposed · Study Habits Workshop

Proposed for 7 November, with 21 November as a backup. Through an interactive focus game and a simple habit card, children can choose one manageable learning habit. Time, venue and organisers are to be confirmed.

Exploring · Library learning connections

We are exploring opportunities for supervised study, child-selected book sharing and creative learning with a local library. An initial enquiry is planned; no partnership or visit has been confirmed.

Ongoing · Fairly paid sewing collaboration

We connect school merchandise needs with an existing sewing team, working towards clear quotations, fair prices, agreed terms and reliable payment. This is a paid collaboration that values skills and work.

Proposed · Community fundraising

A photo booth fundraiser is being developed. The format, date, permissions and budget remain to be confirmed. We also hope to take part in the school Winter Charity Market on 11 December; our participation and stall details are still pending.
